Voi Unit  May   24, 2017 It was a bright morning today with scattered clouds as the orphans left the stockade for the browsing fields under Mudandaís leadership. The orphans were very focused on their browsing activities as it is still very dry in Voi since hardly any rain has fallen.

The orphans visited the middle water hole in the afternoon, but didnít take a birth due to the cold weather. Later in the afternoon, Araba followed Nelion to a private browsing area away from the rest of the orphan elephants. After browsing for more than ten minutes, Araba decide that she missed Kenia and started screaming which surprised Nelion who didnít know what was wrong and started screaming as well. Kenia and Nguvu ran to them with Kenia going straight to Araba to calm her down and reassure her that everything was ok.
