Voi Unit  May   27, 2017 It was a perfect beginning to the day with the orphan elephants leaving for the browsing grounds after the milk and supplement feeding was over. The orphans browsed on the western side of Msinga Hill with Nguvu making the decision to head up the hill as it had better vegetation. He came down a short while later to rejoin the group who had remained at the base.

Tundani and Naipoki, who had followed Nguvu, secured a perfect browsing spot between some big rock boulders where they also enjoyed a buttock scratching session.

The entire group returned to the stockade compound for their milk bottle and a drink of water. They also had a lovely time mudbathing before making their way to the big waterhole for another wallow after which they started the journey back home for the night.
