Kibwezi Forest/Umani Springs Unit  July   12, 2017 The babies began their long day and walked through the Chyulu Hills. As they were walking, they were joined by two giraffe who quickly ran away after noticing the keepers. This made the babies jump and got them a bit worried. The keepers were then forced to drive the bottles to the Chyulu Hills and feed the babies there for the first time. They also felt that it would be too much for Murera, Sonje and Mwashoti to walk back such a distance. When the keepers drove back to the babies with the bottles, Lima Lima picked up the smell and came out from the bushes on to the roadside where the keepers fed her. The other orphans followed and all were fed on the roadside, even the keepers stopped there to eat their lunches.
