  1. The Rescue of Solio - 9/26/2010

    The very word Solio is indicative of saving the Black Rhino as a species here in Kenya, for when Black Rhinos had all but disappeared from their natural native ranges, including Tsavo National Park (once the home of 8,000), it was on 25,000 acre Solio Ranch under tight security that the species managed to proliferate from a mere handful introduced 40 years ago to some 90 individuals.   1. A Maalim Update - 9/23/2010

    Our baby rhino Maalim, aborted prematurely by his mother in the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary on or around l7th December 2008, will soon be two years old. (read more)

  1. A Murka Update - 9/23/2010

    Murka, is the name of the orphaned elephant savagely mutilated by Masai tribesmen outside the boundaries of Tsavo West National Park near Rombo, and who was rescued on the 7th July 2010. (read more)

  1. A sad story - 9/20/2010

    The Olare Orok female elephant that our Mara Veterinary Team treated for the first time back in May that we worked so hard to save, recovered and healed, against all odds. (read more)
