  1. Mara Mobile Veterinary Unit - January 10th - 1/10/2010

    It was the third weekend of the month of January in the new year 2010. The vet unit members based in the Mara had agreed to spend the day cleaning and clearing the grass around the camp which was sprouting up really fast due to the heavy rains pounding the area. (read more)

  1. The Mara Vet Unit's wild encounters - 12/25/2009

    On Sunday 29 November 2009, the vet unit in Masai Mara received an emergency call pertaining an Elephant cow with serious injuries on her belly and in need of urgent veterinary attention. (read more)

  1. The Trust signs a 33 year concession agreement for Kibwezi Forest and Umani Springs - 12/13/2009

    The Umani Springs, surrounded by a beautiful patch of emergent indigenous forest which is home to endemic species, is fed by heavy morning dews and mists filtered through the lava ash of the forested Chyulu Hills, a range that is of fairly recent origin. (read more)

    With Christmas fast approaching it's time for the DSWT's 2009 Pre-Xmas auction, this year with some extra special pieces!
