  1. The rescue of Kilaguni - 7/6/2009

    The 22nd May 2009 saw the arrival of another little orphaned elephant into our Nairobi Nursery, this time a male of approximately 5 – 6 months of age, who had been found alone and wounded, having somehow survived an attack by a predator, possibly a lone hyaena, because had there been more than just one, he would certainly not have been able to survive a pack assault.   1. The rescue of Melia - 6/30/2009

    During the late evening of Saturday 27th June, a yearling female calf was found all alone by our De-Snaring team near the Mombasa Pipeline opposite the Ndara plains in Tsavo East National Park. (read more)
