  1. Aerial Surveillance Report for March 2016 - 4/14/2016

    During March the DSWT Aerial Unit flower 135 hours covering a vast 19,000kms over the greater Tsavo Conservation Area in support of the Kenya Wildlife Service and protecting this precious ecosystem. (read more)

  1. Kenya’s Ivory Stockpile: Going Up In Flames - 4/5/2016

    On April 30th in a ceremony organised by the Government of Kenya and the Kenya Wildlife Service, up to 105 tonnes of Ivory, the largest stockpile ever destroyed and currently under round-the-clock armed guard in Nairobi, will go up in flames. (read more)

  1. March Community Outreach Report - 4/4/2016

    In March 2016, the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (DSWT) carried out eight fully sponsored school trips to Tsavo West National Park, hosted three video shows, installed 19 more beehives along a fence-line at a new farm in Khyusiani village and trained four community members from the village on bee keeping.
