  1. DSWT Community Outreach Report January 2017 - 2/1/2017

    During January 2017, the DSWT hosted 4 fully sponsored school trips to Tsavo West, 3 wildlife video shows, donated 25 long-lasting learning desks and erected a new beehive fence made of thirty modern langstroth hives. (read more)

  1. DSWT/KWS Quarterly Mobile Veterinary Unit Report October to December 2016 - 1/30/2017

    During the October to December 2016 3-month reporting period, the DSWT in partnership with the Kenya Wildlife Service and their four dedicated KWS field veterinary officers, attended to 82 wildlife cases. (read more)

  1. The rescue of Malima - 1/28/2017

    On the 30th of October the DSWT Works Manager, Mr. Trevor Jennings, received a phone call from the Tsavo East National Park Assistant Warden at 6:30 am about a baby elephant found in a collapsed state in front of the Aruba Lodge. (read more)

  1. Monthly Report from the DSWT/KWS Anti-Poaching Units - 1/19/2017

    Although generally a quiet month, during December the Anti-Poaching Units kept up their guard, patrolling the Tsavo Conservation Area, creating a vital security presence whilst supporting bordering communities and preventing further wildlife crimes. (read more)

  1. The Move of Naseku, Kauro and Tusuja to Ithumba - 1/13/2017

    Hot on the heels of the previous move, it was a quick turnaround to get the next three orphans earmarked for the Ithumba relocation Unit down to join best friends Oltaiyoni, Kamok and Roi. (read more)
