    Kiko has just turned two years old in September and continues to rule the roost at the Nairobi Nursery. (read more)

  1. Maramoja, Rapa and Pare safely arrive at Ithumba Stockades - 1/14/2018

    On the 16th of December some more of our older Nursery orphans were ready to move to Ithumba, one of three of the Trust’s rehabilitation units. (read more)

  1. Kauro, Namalok and Sapalan move to Ithumba - 1/13/2018

    The move of Kauro, Sapalan and Namalok to our Ithumba Relocation Unit in Tsavo took place in the early hours of 7th December. (read more)

  1. Protecting a home for elephants - 1/12/2018

    Space, or more the lack of it for wildlife, is a growing challenge and one we have been addressing for many years through our Saving Habitats Program, mindful that with an ever increasing number of people, elephants need their migratory routes secured and protected to ensure they forever have a place to call home.   1. December 2017 Aerial Surveillance Unit Report - 1/12/2018

    December rains began looking promising but rather lost momentum towards the end of the month.   Fortunately, there was heavy rain in the southern area of Tsavo East, where most of the elephant deaths due to starvation occurred late in 2017. (read more)
