  1. Maalim and the Mattress - 1/25/2010

    It’s hard to believe that the Trust’s tiny rhino miracle named “Maalim”, who arrived in the Nursery as a miniature, and who celebrated his 1st birthday on the 17th December 2009 is, in fact, the same animal that came in when just 2 days old just over a year ago. (read more)

    In 2009 the self proclaimed ‘Great British Circus’ began a tour using wild animals in its shows, including 2 Asian and 1 African elephant; it was the first time in 10 years elephants had been seen in a UK circus. (read more)
