  1. A sad story - 9/20/2010

    The Olare Orok female elephant that our Mara Veterinary Team treated for the first time back in May that we worked so hard to save, recovered and healed, against all odds. (read more)

  1. The death of Mawenzi - 8/11/2010

    She was deeply loved and will be most sorely missed.   It is with a great sense of loss and immense sadness that we have to report the death of 18 month old elephant orphan “Mawenzi”, who after a long period of being unwell and never thriving as she should, finally lost the battle and died on Sunday 8th August.   1. IMAX - 3D Film Born to be Wild - 7/21/2010

    An IMAX film crew has recently finished shooting a new 3D film about Dame Daphne Sheldrick and the orphan elephants called BORN TO BE WILD. (read more)
