  1. The rescue of Orphan Giraffe Kiko - 10/11/2015

    On the 19th of September KWS Officer Bernard Rono, who heads the DSWT funded Meru mobile Veterinary Unit, reported having received a baby male reticulated giraffe estimated to be just one week old, which had been rescued by KWS rangers on the Meru National Park boundary. (read more)

  1. Thousands march across the globe for the future of elephants and rhinos - 10/8/2015

    On 3rd and 4th October the world united for wildlife. In the largest show of support for a species, it was a truly heartwarming moment to witness crowds of passionate supporters take to the streets. (read more)

  1. DSWT Community Outreach Report September 2015 - 10/3/2015

    During the month of September, the DSWT carried out 7 school field trips to both Tsavo East and Tsavo West National Parks, where 150 school children and 18 teachers were guided by the DSWT’s Community Outreach Officer in the Trust’s field trip bus. (read more)

  1. Why the DSWT will be Marching for Elephants and Rhinos on 03/04 October 2015 - 10/2/2015

    Two years on from the first International March for Elephants, organised by our iworry campaign, our staff will be marching shoulder to shoulder with other concerned citizens this weekend, calling for a total ban on all ivory sales and more investment in boots on the ground to tackle poaching.
