  1. Shukuru Moves to Umani Springs - 7/3/2018

    On Saturday 16th June, after six months spent convalescing at our Nairobi Nursery, Shukuru made the journey to our Umani Springs Reintegration Unit, where she has joined our happy herd of 11 orphans. (read more)

  1. DSWT June 2018 Aerial Report - 7/3/2018

    June proved to be a month of change; the rains which have graced the greater Tsavo area in the last few months have subsided, and water has become less widespread in all corners of the park. (read more)

  1. Esampu, Mteto and Mundusi move to Ithumba - 6/29/2018

    Over the years we have planned and completed many translocation journeys when we move our little Nursery dependents on to one of the Trust’s three Reintegration Units within the vast Tsavo conservation area. (read more)

  1. Ngilai, Godoma and Murit move to Voi - 6/14/2018

    The end of May was a busy time for our Orphans' Project, Keepers and staff with much planning and many moving parts required to pull-off two elephant moves to our Voi Reintegration Unit in just three days. (read more)

  1. DSWT Aerial Surveillance Report May 2018 - 6/11/2018

    The Tsavo rains largely dissipated in May in much of the Conservation Area, whilst parts of Tsavo have already begun to dry off. (read more)
