  1. Siena, the Marsh Pride lioness, still doing well - 5/22/2014

    It has now been one and a half months since the Marsh Pride lioness, Siena was gored by a buffalo on the 4th April 2014. (read more)

  1. April Report from the Anti-Poaching Units in Tsavo - 5/20/2014

    Several large storms during the first half of April were adequate to re-green much of Tsavo and fill many remote waterholes. (read more)

  1. Profiling a Keeper - 5/12/2014

    In recent years we have seen a significant increase in orphaned elephants coming into our care.  This is due to both an escalation in poaching throughout the country and because of community sensitization; with many orphaned calf’s now rescued when in the past they would be killed or left to die.
