April brought the continuation of March's long rains. The Aerial Unit responded to a major bushmeat poaching operation, supported veterinary callouts at Kipini, managed persistent human–elephant conflict along several boundaries, and conducted a medical evacuation of an injured KWS ranger. Pilots flew 139 hours and covered 19,314 kilometres during the month.
