Aerial Unit Report: August 2026In August, the Aerial Unit flew 236.6 hours and covered 30,180 kilometres. The dry season was at its height across Tsavo, the landscape parched and open. It was a demanding month, dominated by a major rhino notching and tagging operation, two challenging elephant translocations, sustained anti-poaching and livestock pressure across Galana Ranch, and a significant bushfire.

Aerial Unit Report: July 2026In July, the Aerial Unit flew 179.6 hours and covered 25,266 kilometres. The dry season has now taken firm hold across most of Tsavo, with the landscape opening up as waterholes and seasonal pans continue to shrink. It was a busy month, with anti-poaching efforts, veterinary support, human–wildlife conflict response, and wildlife rescues.

Anti-Poaching Report: July 2026July was a busy month for the Anti-Poaching Teams, operated in partnership with the Kenya Wildlife Service. Rangers patrolled 34,633 kilometres, seized 582 kilograms of bushmeat, and made 41 arrests. They also supported a wide range of field operations, including human-wildlife conflict missions and veterinary treatments.
