Aerial Unit Report: June 2025June was a very busy month on the veterinary front, although pilots noted a reduction in human-wildlife conflict and illegal activities. Over the course of the month, pilots flew 206 hours, covering 26,613 kilometres.

Anti-Poaching Report: July 2025Our SWT/KWS Anti-Poaching Teams had a highly productive month, covering 39,852 kilometres on patrol. Rangers confiscated 1,679 snares and made 34 arrests for various wildlife crimes, while also supporting field emergencies ranging from an orphan rescue to firefighting efforts.

Anti-Poaching Report: June 2025June was a busy month, as the dry season started to take hold and there was an expected rise in illegal activities. SWT/KWS Anti-Poaching Teams teams collected 1,046 snares, made 35 arrests, and confiscated 41 kilograms of elephant ivory during the month, covering 46,457 kilometres on patrol.
