Aerial Unit Report: August 2025August was a challenging month for the Aerial Unit, highlighted by the multi-day rescue of elephants trapped in deep mud. The team provided critical aerial support for wildlife emergencies, orphan rescues, anti-poaching operations, medical evacuations, and firefighting across the region. Over the course of the month, pilots flew 227 hours, covering 29,543 kilometres.

Aerial Unit Report: July 2025July proved a busy month for the Aerial Unit, with nine veterinary cases attended to from the air, two orphaned elephant rescues facilitated, and multiple instances of poaching and illegal activity detected during routine patrols. The team also coordinated firefighting efforts as fire season began and assisted with human-wildlife conflict cases across the ecosystem.
