Findings

A total of 49 snares were lifted. All targeted the dikdiks. Natas lands as well as Sasoon’s were patrolled regularly. The trust land, JF’s and Simon’s yielded nil snares unlike last month when Simon’s land was populated with snares. The team has been advised to intensify the patrols as the concentration of animals has increased tremendously in those areas.

The trust’s nursery is doing well. Transplanting of the seedlings into plastic bags is still going on because more seeds were sown this year. The watering and general maintenance needs to be improved to achieve good results.
