    We are joyful to share the news that ex-orphan Wendi, living a wild life in Ithumba and rescued as a new born herself, gave birth to her first wild born baby on the 13th of October. (read more)

  1. DSWT Aerial Surveillance Unit September Report - 10/15/2015

    Having covered over 15,750kms this month, the Aerial Unit has been patrolling extensively over the Tsavo Conservation Area whilst supporting the KWS/DSWT Anti-Poaching Teams and Mobile Veterinary Units. (read more)

  1. The rescue of Orphan Giraffe Kiko - 10/11/2015

    On the 19th of September KWS Officer Bernard Rono, who heads the DSWT funded Meru mobile Veterinary Unit, reported having received a baby male reticulated giraffe estimated to be just one week old, which had been rescued by KWS rangers on the Meru National Park boundary. (read more)

  1. Thousands march across the globe for the future of elephants and rhinos - 10/8/2015

    On 3rd and 4th October the world united for wildlife. In the largest show of support for a species, it was a truly heartwarming moment to witness crowds of passionate supporters take to the streets. (read more)
