  1. Milk Delivery! - 10/27/2011

    On the morning of 27th October we received another donated shipment of SMA milk formula delivered to the Nairobi orphanage. (read more)

    Each bag of milk was over 800kg so the forklift was essential in the offloading process The milk is carefully packed in the elephant milk store With each elephant at the nursery being fed 3 hourly 24 hours a day we need dramatic milk stocks The babies enjoying their bottles
  1. The Rescue of Emsaya - 10/8/2011

    On the 8th of Oct 2011, a young orphaned elephant  calf was reported alone on Galana Ranch,  just outside of Tsavo East National Park’s eastern boundary. (read more)

  1. The Rescue of Kivuko - 10/7/2011

    On the 5th of October, the Voi keepers received a call from Wildlife Works who have a significant presence on the adjacent Ranch Lands abutting both Tsavo East and West National Parks. (read more)

  1. ELEPHANT TRANSLOCATION DIARIES - 9/30/2011

    The Masai Mara is home to the greatest and most spectacular ungulate migration in the world. Millions of Wildebeests accompanied by Zebras, Thomson Gazelles, Topis and followed closely by numerous Carnivores and birds of prey all cross manmade and Natural barriers to get to the rich savanna grassland of Masai Mara annually.
