The morning began like any other with the stockade dependant orphan elephants concentrating on their milk and supplement feeding before walking through the bushes as they headed to the browsing grounds.
Today Kihari was seen spending some time with Tahri during the morning browsing session. Ndii and Kihari are very close friends and as such Ndii was happy to allow her friend to spend some time with Tahri though she made sure to keep a constant watch on the two.
As the orphans were headed to their noon milk bottle, Mudanda tired to overtake Mbirikani in an effort to get to the milk bottles first. Mbirikani was able to maintain the lead surprising Mudanda as she thought she would not have a problem overtaking Mbirikani who still has a slight limp from the snare wound that rendered her an orphan.
