Voi Unit  January   5, 2018 It was a wonderful beginning to the day as the orphan elephants happily came out to of their stockades for their milk before heading to the browsing fields for the day. The orphan herd lined up in a nearly perfect line as they walked to the fields in single file browsing as they went.

The weather was fairly cold today and as such none of the orphans had a mud bath when they visited the baobab waterhole at noon for their milk bottle. As they headed back to the browsing fields they crossed paths with a wild bull. The babies lifted their trunk in greeting but did not join him choosing instead to continue with their own plans.
