24 March 1999
The Big Boys were away with the wild herds for the first part of the month, but Ndume and Edo met up with Malaika and the babies on the 24th out in the bush at 11.30 a.m.
25 March 1999
Ndume and Edo were together with Malaika on the 25th until 3 p.m. and on the 26th, when they spent the whole day together, returning together to the Stockades in the evening.

Ndume and Edo were together with Malaika and spent the whole day together, returning together to the Stockades in the evening.
27 March 1999
On the 27th they joined Malaika at the campsite and met a wild group of elephants below Daniel's house, spending an hour with them. Emily enjoyed playing with a wild calf her size.
31 March 1999
Ndume and Edo were occupied elsewhere for the rest of the month, but on the morning of the 3lst Malaika and the babies joined a wild group of 8 adults and two babies and were with them until 11.30 a.m. when they left for the mudbath.
