With The Boys in tow, the orphans were joined by a wild herd at their mudbath. Stories of Edo, Lissa, Ndume and more..

01 November 1999

With The Boys in tow, the orphans were joined by a wild herd at their mudbath. Dika and Ndume decided to go with the wild herd after mudbath but met up with Malaika on the way back to the Stockades in the evening.

02 November 1999

On the 2nd only Edo and Ndume were with Malaika because Dika was with a wild group feeding below the East side of the hill. Ndume and Edo lagged behind when Malaika began heading for home.

03 November 1999

On the 3rd the orphans met up with Edo and Ndume on the East side of the hill with 3 wild Bulls who also came along to the mudbath. The wild Bulls left after mudbath but Edo and Ndume returned with Malaika.

04 November 1999

On the 4th, only Edo was with Malaika in the morning, but they met up with Dika and Ndume on the East side of the hill. After the mudbath they were joined by Lissa and her baby with whom they spent the afternoon until 5.15 p.m. and then all returned to the Stockades together.

05 November 1999

On the 5th only The Boys joined Malaika but on the 6th she was alone with her family until met by Edo and Ndume at 4.30 p.m. They came back with her to the Stockades.

07 November 1999

On the 7th Malaika was again with The Boys and on the 8th, with Edo and Ndume in tow, the orphans met up with Lissa's group on the East side of the hill. They were together for the mudbath but Lissa and her baby left when Malaika began heading back.

09 November 1999

On the 9th only Edo was with Malaika, but Lissa and her baby and Ndume were waiting back at the Stockades in the evening.

10 November 1999

On the 10th Malaika's group met Lissa and her baby near the Research Centre, and they were all later joined by Edo and Ndume who were with them until leaving with Lissa at 2 p.m.
