Mount Kenya Mobile Veterinary Unit had a series of activities during the April 2026 reporting period including clinical interventions, translocations, collarings and disease surveillance.
Interventions include treatment of a wounded lion and wire snare removal from an adult elephant. Two wild dogs and two lionesses were collared for monitoring purposes. Disease surveillance activities included elephant, a giraffe calf and a zebra necropsy.
