Peregrine Team Update: 01 December 2003
Peter Wambua Isack Kalamba Julius Muthoka
This month we stayed in our usual area of operation although we crossed into community land to collect snares that had trapped villagers goats. We managed to collect a total of 33 snares this month, mainly on the community side. We found no snares on the neighbouring farms We also extended our patrols to the new plot where there is some wildlife, we did not collect any snares here. Trees were planted on the Trust land and the Trust nursery was fenced in and covered. The community trees are being well looked after and the trees in the schools are also doing well. All the schools have closed for this month and so no sporting activities have been organized.
