The conservation area experienced insignificant precipitation towards the end of the month. A few water pans are full, and the vegetation is rapidly drying off.
Most of the animals are still in good body condition. There was an increase in cases this month with a total of 25 cases attended too, the majority of which were poaching or human-wildlife conflict related, and 18 of the cases directly involved elephants.
