We are honoured to share that our CEO, Angela Sheldrick, has been awarded the Elder of the Order of the Burning Spear (E.B.S.), Kenya’s highest civilian state decoration. It was presented by His Excellency President William Ruto at State House on 12th December 2025.
This award belongs to the entire Sheldrick Wildlife Trust family. It reflects the dedication and shared purpose of everyone who makes our mission possible, both on the frontlines and behind the scenes. It is also a testament to Kenya’s commitment to its wildlife and wild spaces.
