  1. Mara, May 10th - A WILD STORY - 6/10/2010

    It was on Monday 3rd May 2010 in the evening when a call came in to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust’s Mara Mobile Veterinary Unit from the managers of Olare Orok Conservancy, Rob and Sarah,  about an elephant cow within the conservancy with a badly injured back leg. (read more)

  1. Dida, Kimana and Ndii's journey to Tsavo - 5/18/2010

    Three trucks parked against the Loading Ramps of the Nairobi Nursery, and three elephants being fed their milk inside them over the past week heralded another imminent move to one of our two Rehabilitation Centres in Tsavo East National Park. (read more)

  1. Emily and Irima's operations - 5/11/2010

    To the Voi Keepers’ knowledge, who undertake motorized regular patrols in order to monitor our ex orphans now living wild, Emily must still have been within the boundary of Tsavo East National Park when she was arrowed either on, or around, the 4 May, 2010, the arrow penetrating deep into her rump.
