  1. The rescue of Mutara - 7/29/2009

    The 26th July brought not only the rescue of 2 and a half month old Tano from Loisaba Ranch, but also another newborn, who was seen all alone at 2pm on the road between Rumuruti town in Laikipia and the ADC ranch known as Mutara. (read more)

  1. The Death of Olkeju - 7/23/2009

    Over the years we have certainly suffered our fair share of orphaned elephant deaths, each one the loss of a loved one, a treasured memory, and the sadness of having lost an animal that duplicates ourselves in terms of emotion and age, who has also endured the heartbreaking trauma of losing an elephant mother and beloved family.
