During another quiet morning the orphans were joined by Tumaren, Ishanga, Chemi Chemi, Kilaguni, Chaimu, Kilabasi and Kasigau. Half an hour later, the milk dependent group left for browsing. The sun was hot again today and therefore Bongo, Laragai, Mutara, Narok and Kanjoro wallowed to their satisfaction. Sities, Kainuk, Shukuru and Turkwel scratched against the nearby trees before Laragai led the way back to the browsing field. At one o’clock in the afternoon Mulika with a few ex orphans together with Murka, Suguta and her group reported for water at the stockade. Soon after quenching their thirst, Kilaguni led the way back to the bush.
