The Unit attended to 20 cases during the month of October including 10 poaching cases.
Both elephant cases involved an elephant with a spear injury, including its subsequent postmortem. The other poaching cases were 7 zebras and 1 waterbuck which were caught in snares. The HWC cases involved 2 zebra and 1 giraffe.
