March brought a sharp uptick in veterinary cases caused by poaching and human-wildlife conflict. The Aerial Unit also supported a remarkable operation involving a snared buffalo. Over the course of the month, the team flew 239 hours, covering 30,196 kilometres in flight.

Along with their daily patrols and anti-poaching operations, the team supported several notable veterinary treatments, including the rescue of a trapped lion, human-elephant conflict mitigation, and the very unique translocation of a group of lemur stowaways. In January, the team flew 192 hours, covering 25,505 kilometres in flight.
