February saw an early and above-average start to the rains, bringing relief across much of Tsavo. The Aerial Unit focused on several human–elephant conflict cases along the Tsavo East boundary, supported multiple orphan rescues, and assisted veterinary teams in the field. Pilots flew 192 hours and covered 24,562 kilometres during the month.
