Southern Mobile Veterinary Unit Report for August 2026For yet another month, the conservation area has not received any rain The water pans and vegetation are quickly drying off, and we hope to welcome the rains to rejuvenate the ecosystem soon. Despite these challenges some sparse areas still have adequate vegetation, and the wildlife remain in fairly good condition.

Southern Mobile Veterinary Unit Report for July 2026The conservation area received no meaningful precipitation during the period under review. A few water pans are full, and the vegetation is rapidly drying off though some areas still have good vegetation cover.

However, a few water pans are full, and the vegetation is rapidly drying off. Some areas still have good vegetation cover and both grazers and browsers have enough food and are in good body condition.
